Signature Science Show only $7/student +GST

The year 2 science show uses memorable demonstrations like fire and smoke rings to guide students in an exploration of ways to combine and describe Earth’s resources, and the effects of applying forces to objects around us.

Signature Science Show and Rocket Science – Push/Pull Power workshop $14/student + GST

As well as our Signature Science show, students investigate Newton’s laws of physics by building and launching CO2 rockets in an unforgettable exploration of push and pull forces.

Signature Science Show and Perfect Polymers – Mixing Materials workshop $14/student +GST

As well as our Signature Science show, students investigate the properties of different materials, combining safe chemicals to make and describe their very own slime and instant snow.

Signature Science Show, Rocket Science – Push/Pull Power workshop and Perfect Polymers – Mixing Materials workshop $24/student +GST

As well as our Signature Science show, each group will participate in the Rocket Science as well as the Perfect Polymers workshop.

During the Rocket Science workshop, students investigate Newton’s laws of physics by building and launching CO2 rockets in an unforgettable exploration of push and pull forces.

The Perfect Polymers workshop allows students to investigate the properties of different materials, combining safe chemicals to make and describe their very own slime and instant snow.

Perfect Polymers – Mixing Materials workshop only $10/student +GST

Students investigate the properties of different materials, combining safe chemicals to make and describe their very own slime and instant snow.

Rocket Science – Push/Pull Power workshop only $10/student + GST

Students investigate Newton’s laws of physics by building and launching CO2 rockets in an unforgettable exploration of push and pull forces.

Year 2

Our Science stage shows let us demonstrate, explore and explain meaningful scientific concepts, spanning across multiple units and science curriculum sub strands. Students are constantly encouraged to participate from the audience, or as volunteers.

The hands-on workshops are about learning by doing, questioning concepts, developing inquiry skills and following scientific processes. Each workshop has been designed to complement classroom units throughout the year, each centred around a particular science understanding sub-strand or concept. Teachers are provided with worksheets to continue the learning and further unpack our activities in the classroom.
